About Rehmatullah Hotel

If you are exploring food spots around Old Delhi, Rehmatullah Hotel is one of those places that immediately feels connected to the energy and flavor of the area. Located at 105-110, Matia Mahal Rd, opposite Gate Number-1, Bazar Matia Mahal, Jama Masjid, Old Delhi, Delhi, this Indian restaurant sits in one of the city’s most active food streets where aromas, movement, and local culture blend together naturally. I would describe Rehmatullah Hotel as a place that attracts people who enjoy traditional Indian cuisine without unnecessary fuss. The atmosphere feels lively and approachable, and that casual charm makes it suitable for quick meals as well as longer food sessions with friends or family. Since many visitors have different dining preferences, the restaurant also offers flexible service options including dine-in, takeout, delivery, drive-through access, and onsite services, making it easier to enjoy food based on your schedule. Another thing that stands out is the variety in the dining experience. Some people stop by for a quick bite during a busy day, while others come looking for filling meals and small plates that allow them to try different flavors at once. There are also vegetarian options available for guests who prefer plant-based selections, while people seeking lighter meals can appreciate healthier choices. The all-you-can-eat style appeal and late-night food options add more convenience, especially in a neighborhood known for active evenings and food lovers moving from one spot to another. The setting also carries that classic Old Delhi food lane feeling where conversations overlap, people come and go constantly, and the surrounding streets create an atmosphere that feels active from one moment to the next. Walking through the Jama Masjid area already feels like stepping into a world built around food traditions, and places like Rehmatullah Hotel naturally become part of that experience with their local character, familiar flavors, and constant flow of hungry visitors.

Went to Rehmatullah hotel with my family. Considering the locality of jama masjid, the hotel is cleaner and service is good as well. We tried the brain masala, Nihari, mutton stew, mutton qorma, anda keema, chicken seekh kebab along with tandoori roti. Also as desert we tried the mawa jalebi which was too good. The food is much oily but tasty at the same time. Once in a while we can compromise with our health and taste the ultimate non veg feast. Also the management feeds a large number of peoples outside the shop as charity. The owner is so humble and sits outside the shop most of the time managing the crowd inside. They hosted us really well and I will recommend anyone who visits the busy bustling streets of jama masjid can hop in here for a non veg treat.

One of the underrated gems for Mughlai food that is on point. The Nihari is definitely the highlight, and if you are good with beef, then the Anda Keema is an absolute must.

Excellent food, great vibes and 2nd floor is perfect perch to people watch. Ordered the chicken biryani, butter chicken and dahl. Perfect flavor and spice level. Bonus was seeing them also feed the street kids that came by.

One of the best hotel near jama masjid delhi. Cheap and best hotel ever, visit with nasim bhai, arman with intakhab bhai. It was a loveable experience. The food was just amazing . People serve the food more lovely and hence the food tastes more tasty.Every dish that comes out of our kitchen carries the richness of authentic flavors, carefully selected spices, and recipes perfected with passion. From the first aroma that reaches your table to the last satisfying bite, the food tells a story of tradition, warmth, and true hospitality

The food is really good. Hygiene is maintained and prices are really pocket friendly. The servers and the manager is very friendly. The food is really good. Quantity wise and quality is also maintained. Nihari is a 10/10, Sheekh kabab solid 10/10, Biryani 8/10 and Shahi Tukda a solid 10/10. I had these with Khamiri roti. Very good experience.

The best street food you can eat. As a guy who lives off food made in restaurants and hotels ( it's not as unhealthy as it sounds), I can confidently confirm that no mutton Korma + Sheermal combination can come close to what you'll taste here. And this is not an AI generated review with superfluous language. Nothing beats the taste (obviously this combo is definitely not healthy, but you can forget health when you taste something as mind-blowing as this). Their biriyani also hits the sweet spot. Amazing stuff.
